
Tom Day- Casper, Wyoming – Founder – President
Tom was born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1963. He has served a total of 23 years in the Military and in 3 different branches starting with the United States Marine Corps in 1985. Then he went Air Force in 1991- 1994. Then United States Army in 1995-2001, then back to Air Force from 2003-2009. Tom has had a couple of deployments to the Middle East. When he left military service Tom became a Sheriffs Deputy and worked for 2 different Sheriffs Departments. Upon completion of serving as a Law Enforcement Officer Tom and his wife Tammy moved to Wyoming in May of 2023. Tom is very much involved in working in the community helping to serve Veterans and First Responders as a resource to help prevent suicide among those communities as well as serving on a couple of community boards. Tom is a member of the Natrona County Suicide Task force. He is involved in Wyoming’s Governor’s Challenge – Suicide Prevention for SMVF – (Service Members, Veterans, and their Families.)

John Petley – Vice President
As a Gold Star brother, John has always maintained a profound commitment to honoring and supporting our veterans and service members. Despite being a non-veteran himself, his desire to serv led him back to alma mater, Casper College, and it’s Veterans Club. While working alongside student veterans, John was invited to join the Governor Gordon’s Challenge on Suicide on Suicide Awareness and the Wyoming Alliance for suicide prevention. Through the dedicated efforts of John and his wife, the Casper College Veterans club successfully authored and initiated Wyoming’s annual month long Veteran and First Responders Suicide Prevention Proclamation for the month of June. Additionally, John advocated at the Capital to secure funding for the 988 Suicide Hotline for Wyoming. John and his wife Jeannie enjoy their Harley and the back country in their off time.

Theresa ” Tina” Wulf – Secretary
Tina was born the youngest of 15 children to James and Gloria Liard in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Attending mostly parochial schools, Tina went to a small Catholic college until she put her education on hold to join and travel with “Up With People” (UWP). From 1983-1986, she traveled first as a student, then as Promotional Representative, and finally as an Education Program Manager. She toured with hundreds of international students from 20+ countries, to 46 states and seven countries on three continents. The best part was staying with host families. UWP was a life changing experience about people, culture, and community involvement. To top it off, while traveling, Tina met Ray Wulf. They married in 1989. As a stay- at-home mom of two boys, she volunteered at her boys’ grade school, so much that she went to work for the district. Meanwhile, she attended classes at UW/CC and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science in 2008, the same year her oldest son graduated from high school, making it a memorable year. Tina worked for the Casper Star Tribune as an Advertiser Rep for downtown Casper. From this, she was hired as Executive Director for the Downtown Development Authority. Later, she worked as Office Manager for Our Saviours Lutheran Church. Since retiring, she spends her time volunteering, enjoys yoga, gardening, reading, and walking. Growing up in a large family has taught Tina about caring and sharing, and she has made a lifelong commitment to serve others.

Tammy Day – Treasurer
Tammy Day comes to Patriot Express Honor Trips with a passion for helping Veterans, First Responders, and Active Duty, Guard-Reserve Service members. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Mississippi State University, as well as over 20 years in business, management and entrepreneurship, she has the expertise and understanding to adequately run business operations and finance. Starting with Patriot Express Honor Trips as the Treasurer, her attention to detail is vital to ensure that the non – profit’s finances are handled transparently and with adequate checks and balances. Tammy also spearheads the Quilt of Valor group called Working4Warriors, based here in Casper, Wyoming.

Erin Graham – Board Member at Large
Erin Graham is a stay-at-home mom, Air Force Veteran and dedicated community volunteer with a passion for honoring those who have served. She bring a strong background in organizational and event coordination, having previously served as a board member for another non-profit, secretary for a local Corvette Club, and Facilities Use Coordinator for her church. She is deeply committed to fostering camaraderie among veterans and showing appreciation for their service. Erin’s connection to military service runs deep – her grandfather served in General MacArthur’s Honor Guard, and her father is a Navy Veteran – shaping her respect for those who came before her. A Wyoming native, Erin enjoys camping, snowmobiling, Corvettes, and spending time with her husband, two children, two springer spaniels and close friends.

Jeannie Powell – Board Member at Large
Coming from a family of service – including three uncles who served multiple tours in the Vietnam War – Jeannie has always felt a deep calling to support veterans causes. This passion took root at Casper College while working alongside her husband to support student veterans. Their involvement with a student veteran suicide survivor eventually led to a collaboration with Governor to establish a month-long proclamation dedicated to Veteran and First Responder Suicide Awareness and Prevention. Beyond advocacy, Jeannie is dedicated to addressing food insecurity, having volunteered with student weekend food projects and various organizations focused on feeding veterans in need. Jeannie and her husband John enjoy their Harley and the great outdoors in their off time.

Ray Wulf – Board Member at Large
Ray Wulf was born Feb 17,1949 in Larchwood, Iowa. Growing up on a farm, one of 9 boys and two girls, Ray developed a strong work ethic. He and seven of his brothers served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Collectively they served 61 years. Ray served three years in communications at Fort Richardson, AK, three years in the Army Reserves, also in communications and fourteen years as Aircraft Refueler in the Air National Guard. He graduated from Mankato State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Construction Management. He has been an Estimator for several heavy highway contractors, most notably Rissler & McMurry, Northern Improvement, and Oftedal. Ray retired at 70 and became active in the American Legion and served as Co-Chair of the Wyoming Fallen Veterans Memorial, a project near and dear to his heart. He is equally involved in Casper’s Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Ray has been married to Tina Liard for 37 years and has 2 sons, Ryan who is working on his twenty years in military service with one tour in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. He is currently an Army Guardsman. His youngest, Aaron James, has two Music Degrees, teaching Music in Berthoud, CO and plans to enroll in a Doctoral Program for Conducting. It is Ray’s patriotism and concern for his fellow veterans that has him now serving on the Patriot Express Honor Trips Board.
